Patriotism Matters!
Does patriotism still matter in the United States of America? What is patriotism? Some people have patriotism and some people don’t even care. Patriotism is being loyal to your country and voting for who you want to win the election, especially girls because many women have suffered and died for the right to vote and if you don’t, those people did that for nothing. They would not be happy to find out that after all that hard work women have stopped voting! Do you have patriotism? Think about that question as you read on. You may be saying,” well patriotism is such hard work”, but it’s actually very easy. All you have to do is simply vote in elections, be respectful to others and support the government whether you like it or not. These are just a few ways of being patriotic. If America stops being patriotic and starts to not pay any attention to who’s going to win an election and don’t really care, this country would just fall apart. The next thing you know you’ve elected a terrible person as president and you’re not paying attention to what they are doing, and then all of a sudden we have fallen apart because of what this person did to the U.S without us even knowing about it. So do you have patriotism? Hopefully, because that was just one bad thing that could happen to us. There are many more possibilities for things to happen if we are not patriotic than if we are, because this country needs to be constantly aware of things going on around us to protect us. This way, if we are, this country will stay strong like it is right now! I am writing this so the generations to come keep the patriotism going in the United States of America.
