Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks have been slowly rebuilding their team and now have a chance at it all with this young and talented team. The Bucks have two stand out players with Brandon Jennings and Andrew Bogut, but there is a downside to this team. They can never come up with the win in the close games that come down to the last few minutes. The Milwaukee Bucks will be a stellar team if they can come up the wins in the close games.
To begin with Brandon Jennings is one of the main reasons they have as many fans as they do. Brandon is a crowd pleaser always keeping the crowd on their feet. When the other team sees Brandon step on the court they are already worried. Who wants to guard a man averaging 18.5 points per game? He always gets the other players on the team involved with almost 6 assists a game. Who wouldn’t want Brandon on their team?
Another big time player on the Bucks is Andrew Bogut. Andrew plays the center position and dominates the boards. He averages 12 rebounds a game with almost 5 offensive rebounds giving the team another try to get a basket on that possession. Andrew can also can grab the rebound and put it right back up adding on to his 13 points per game. Andrew also pays for a section n the stands called Squad 6 that almost would be considered the student section of the stadium. Squad 6 screams, chants, and cheers the team on during the game.
One f the downsides of this stellar team would be that they cannot come up clutch in those close games. The Bucks have yet to sign a player that can make a shot when they need it. Milwaukee can do fine when the games aren’t close and there isn’t as much pressure nut when the pressure is applied it gets right to them and they can’t get the ball in the hoop.
Overall the Bucks are a decent team with their two stand out players Brandon and Andrew. Also they do have that downside where they can’t make the shot when they need it and can’t come out with the win in those close games, but what team doesn’t have a downside. The Bucks are young and talented this year so they have a chance for it all, but as always there is room for improvement.
Ponyboy Curtis
I selected the character Ponyboy Curtis because he is a main character and there is a lot to tell about him, also he is a greaser that cares about other people around him and not just him. The one thing about Ponyboy I like the most is that he is a great friend. If Ponyboy were in Johnny’s situation when he had to kill Bob to save Ponyboy he would have done the same thing. I relate to Ponyboy a little because I believe I am a good friend, but I am not sure I would’ve went in to save the kids from the burning church. I will never know what I would do until I am in the situation. I can’t say I know someone like Ponyboy because I do not know any nice gang members. Ponyboy is introduced in this novel right in the beginning when he walks out of the darkness of the movie house into the brightness of the sunlight. At one point in this movie I realized how much Ponyboy cares about his hair when he says “No, not the hair.” and its not just Ponyboy its the whole Greaser gang. Also when Ponyboy calls Bob “White trash.” These things show that he dislikes most socs. I believe Ponyboys actions changed when the soc said “How would you like that haircut to begin right below the chin?” Ponyboy I believe is more cautious of his surroundings and always stays with someone while outside, because if he were to be alone the socs would jump him in a heartbeat but they would think twice if someone was with him. Pony has a huge role in this book because he represents the nice side of the greasers. The greasers are known as dirty, nasty kids that do not do good things. Ponyby is one of the only reasons you have to believe that the greasers are not as bad as they sound. Ponyboy and Johnny proved that they had a nicer side when they risked their lives in the burning building in order to save the children inside.
